In this south facing garden the formality comes from the geometric layout and symmetry both in shape and planting.

The plants were chosen to thrive in the hot conditions and are a mixture of evergreen shrubs, perennials and bulbs to give year round colour and interest to the garden, whilst keeping maintenance low.

As this garden is often viewed from the terrace above Achillea and Hebe were included to provide good colour and shape from this angle.
